29-January-2008 - Fearless Leader has been MIA for entirely too long once again, due to life-related delays and a distinct onslaught of homework via college. However! In light of semi-recent episodes airing abroad, I thought it best to check up on things, and lo; we've got a few new members and affiliates, and even a submission from one of our own!

Next order of business; the contests. As the older members should know, our last two contests went completely unentered--so I propose an unofficial poll: what would you, our members, like to compete with one another against? Fanfiction? Fanart? Suggestions are a must, because otherwise, there will only be more arbitrary contests! And nobody wants that. So send a note, par usual, and we'll get right on setting up the next contest before February 14--let's get this started before Valentines Day!

17-October-07 - Well all, here we are with another full contest passed and no entries--and no inquieries, either! For that matter, there have been very few submissions recently. More than 50% of the ZukoxAang on Devart (if you search it as 'ZukoxAang' are mine; this club is not my backup portfolio; I don't want to flood you with my stuff. Fearless Leader wants your pretties! If you have anything you would like to submit, drop a note, and it'll get up within a few weeks.

Number two! Fearless Leader will be at Yaoicon 2007 is coming up on October 26th-28th, at the Marriott San Mateo-San Francisco Airport hotel (in California). While I don't have a table at artist alley, anyone who comes by and finds me will get a free ZukoxAang sketch. The only catch is that, for Yaoicon, you have to be eighteen to attend! I'll be easy to find; season two and three Katara will be my main cosplays, as well as Duo from Gundam Wing, and possibly Mikoto from Princess Princess--more than likely, at least someone in my cosplay group will be dressed as someone from the Avatar cast on any given day. (*Loki-rei will be Sokka, ~CicadaNoise will be Iroh on Sunday, Lily Kalanoa will be Chong's wife, Lily, and possibly a few others.) If anyone does attend, even if you don't find me, Fearless Leader would love to see the cosplay photos you come back with!

5-August-07- What is this, not even an inquiry about the last contest! Very depressing. There's a new one, however, open from 5 August 2007 to 16 September 2007, which leaves time for the winner to be announced just two days after the Season Three premier! Hopefully, this will be incentive, as the next contest is Season Three themed! As before, check out the Contest Journal for details!

Rules

Rules will be updated sooner than later. Basic DevART rules (and club rlues) do apply, however. For review:

-Do not steal your art/writing! If we catch you doing this we will personally barbeque you. Or something. The DevART admins will certainly know about it.

-Do not submit works that violate DevART policy! This includes fanfiction rated over R and blatant, well, porn type yaoi. Given that ZukoxAang is technically shotakon we do not want to see any of that in this club! (~gyakuten-no-megami however would more than likely be a happy pervert if you linked her to it via a note)

-Be nice to the other members! Come on, people, don't be mean to each other. And don't bash people in the name of our club. That's the admin's job.

-This is more of a pet peeve than anything else; if the admins have trouble understanding what you're saying and you're speaking English, they will not respond. Why? Because it's too troublesome! iff u tok lyek diz I refuse to speak to you! Mission denied! Please speak like a vaguely logical person to us...

-Do not forget to put WARNINGS on your works! Although your main admin thoroughly enjoys most obscene things, some club members might not, and we have to think of them as well. If your picture implies something obscene warn us!

-Do not fave the fanarts that have been submitted to the gallery. We don't appreciate this, and neither does the artist.

How to Join

Same procedure as in most every club out there: please send us a note entitled "Join," DevWatch us and put our icon (:iconZukoxAang club: without the space) in your DevJournal! If you would like, you could always put :devZukoxAang club: in your siggy, for advertising's sake, but that's not required!
